Course Objectives
This course introduces students to discrete mathematics. The students are expected to be able to give definitions, prove theorems presented in class, and solve both computational problems and problems involving students' own proofs.
Prerequisite
One semester of calculus.

You are expected to do the homework given here and read the course text before the classroom discussion of each topic as indicated in homework.
Grading
The grade will be
given on the basis of quizzes (10%) given in class without prior announcement, two written tests during the semester (25% per each), and written final exam (40%).
