Interactive
whiteboards (IWB) are rapidly replacing blackboards in the
classroom.
There are various types and ways of mounting them.
Ideally
the IWB should be mounted or fixed securely. This makes
it easier
to keep it synchronized. IWB's on wheels are better than
nothing,
but they easily get out of synch if moved even slightly.
A common
type of IWB found in New York City schools is called a
Smartboard.
Activboards are another common brand.
