The Network Printers

The Rosenthal maintains several work-stations for student use.

The greatest concentration of computers are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but computers are interspersed throughout the library (floors 1-6).

Print documents can be retrieved from any networked printer Levels 1, 2, and 3)

Printing costs .10¢ a page, or .35¢ a page for color.

All student workstations have internet access.

All allow for flash drives/jump drives to be used.

There is no time limit on their use.

Printing can be done from all of them.

All require students log in using a CAMS account (College Account Maintenance System)

· KIOSKS require NO CAMS login.

· KIOSKS on Level 3 are for short time use, unless there is no one waiting.

· All QC guests and visitors must use KIOSKS.

· KIOSKS do NOT allow for the use of a flash drive.

· KIOSKS allow printing.

· (9/14/08): Currently, you can not print documents from a KIOSK computer that are generated on BLACKBOARD 

 
 

OCT maintains several computer labs on campus:

· I Building 2d Floor

· Powdermaker Hall #210

· Kiely Hall #226

· Science Building (temporarily CLOSED Fall 2008)

Reminders:

*documents retrieved from Library databases can be emailed.

*if students don't remember CAMS information, only OCT can release that information to students (provided they show i.d.).

*students have a $10 credit on their school i.d. which they can use at any computer lab on campus.

*students can not pay for print outs or copies with the credit on their student i.d.
