All courses are certified by the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO). New York Department of State requires that the time spent online equals the number of hours required for the course in order to get CE credit. Completion of any course in less than the required number of hours will not be credited towards your 22.5 hour CE requirement.

  • ADA and Fair Housing
    ADA legislation affects the business of every real estate agent. Find out what the laws cover and how it pertains to you, while refreshing your knowledge of the Federal Fair Housing Laws
  • Consensual Dual Agency
    This course describes agency relationships and the inherent conflicts of interest of each, followed by coverage of dual agency, agency policy, and procedures for implementing, documentation, and changing agency policy.
  • Real Estate Math
    Explains math calculations for property measurement, commissions, investments and return on investments, capitalization, loans, and property cost and price, with easy-to-remember formulas and practice problems.
  • Tax-free Exchanges
    Take this course to learn the basics of doing a tax-free exchange of residential investment property and to know what type of property is eligible. Some of the topics to be covered are requirements of a tax-free exchange, types of exchanges, and the methods for transferring title when an exchange takes place.
  • Principles of Commercial Real Estate
    Understand the different types of commercial real estate including office space, retail space and storage facilities. Additional topics include industrial real estate brokerage, site selection, land development, and the effect of local and regional labor markets on commercial real estate.

  • Methods of Residential Financing
    All of the various forms of residential real estate financing - including conventional, FHA, VA Loans, loan assumptions, purchase money mortgages, and alternative financing - are explained in this course. In addition, lessons are included on legislation relating to financing.
  • Basic Real Estate Finance
    Everything you ever wanted to know about real estate finance is covered in detail. Topics include financing instruments, promissory notes, mortgages, assumptions, priority of loans, foreclosures, deeds to secure debt, types of loans, source of funds, loan practices, and closing costs.
  • Tax Advantages of Home Ownership
    This course presents the unique tax benefits available when buying/selling a home and during ownership. It includes close examination of the Taxpayers Fairness Act of 1997 and a useful record-keeping system.
  • Commercial Leases
    This course analyzes the typical provisions of office, retail, and industrial leases. Formulas used to calculate rent, key negotiation points, and technical issues unique to industrial leases are also covered in great detail.
  • Commercial Finance and Investment Analysis
    A brief history of the savings and loan industry progresses into present commercial real estate financing practices. The different types of financing available to commercial properties and their characteristics are explained in detail. Investment evaluation methods including property comparison, appraisal, capitalization rates, and the time value of money are also covered.
  • Structuring Ownership in Commercial Real Estate
    The many different types of ownership available in commercial real estate and their implications are covered in this course. Issues addressed include liability, taxes, regulations, set up, and management as well as the benefits and drawbacks to each.
  • Commercial Sales and Exchanges
    Aspects of the commercial sales transaction and tax deferred exchanges are covered in great detail. You will learn the essential elements of the contract, closing procedures, and documentation in a commercial sale along with the benefits and requirements of a tax deferred exchange.
All courses can be completed online. To complete the courses online, you must have Internet Explorer (5.5 minimum). If you don't have Internet Explorer 5.5, you will have to either upgrade your browser to IE 5.5 or download the course to your computer.
