Ralph Rader:
“Defoe, Richardson, Joyce, and the Concept of Form in Fiction” is most easily available in my anthology, The Critical Tradition (Bedford Books, 1989), FIRST EDITION. I have loaded onto this site a more or less readable e-version of this essay (apologies for the printer-garbage in these files—it has to do with setting special fonts and nonstandard characters).
