Queens College Foreign Language Requirement
|

| Students matriculated Fall 1981 semester or later must satisfy the following Advanced skill degree requirements in a Foreign Language: |
| |
| Students must attain knowledge equivalent to three semesters in one foreign language. This requirement may be satisfied by: |
- successfully completing the third level of foreign language instruction at the high school level, or
- receiving a passing grade on the New York State Regents Comprehensive Language Examination, Level 3, or
- passing a competency examination administered by the foreign language departments at the College, or
- passing the competency examination in American Sign Language (ASL), administered by the Office of Special Services
