Blocks of activities for participants, with 3 deadlines. (These activities will be moderated by program presenters. Participants will be grouped based on common objectives, including—but not limited to—target student population, intended level of instruction, and particular LOTE.)
Getting Online (deadline: March 15, 2002)
Participants will confirm access to QC Online (Blackboard) site and modify a traditional LOTE syllabus for Internet-enhanced instruction.
Evaluating Online Resources (deadline: April 19, 2002)
Participants will compile a list of apparently appropriate Internet resources and evaluate each other's resources for incorporation into LOTE instruction.
Evaluating Task-Based Activities (deadline: May 10, 2002)
Participants will design a task-based activity and evaluate a co-participant's activity.
