Instructional Services
The Instructional Services Program provides a variety of instructional opportunities to assist Queens College students and faculty in locating, using and evaluating information effectively. We offer:
- A Virtual Library Tour where students and other visitors can learn about our services and collections.
- Course-related bibliographic instruction in a variety of subject areas is available on request for class groups, day or evening.
- A formal credit course in basic library research is offered each semester.

CUNY's Information Competency Tutorials :
A CUNY-wide group of librarians have devised that take the viewer through the information research process. Practice quizzes at the end of some modules allow the viewer to test their knowledge of key concepts discussed in the tutorials Results are displayed and emailed to the Instructional Services Office.
