Visiting the Library

To enhance campus security, the following policy has been put in place :

All QC students, faculty, and staff must show their current Queens College ID.
All other patrons must present a photo ID (CUNY or other student ID, driver's license, etc.). The ID will be held at the Security Desk, and a Visitor's Pass will be issued. The ID will be returned when the Visitor's Pass is relinquished at the Library exit.

Quiet, Please!

Certain areas of the Library have been designated for quiet study.

Please be quiet in these areas.

Group Study Rooms are available:
please inquire at the Circulation Desk, level 3.

Consumption of food and drink
is limited to the
Books n’ Bytes Café

Water in re-sealable bottles is allowed in the Library.

Library patrons with food or uncovered beverage containers will be directed to the Books n’ Bytes Café.

Cell phone use

Please do not use cell phones in Quiet Areas.

What can you do?

Observe the Library’s food and drink policy
Do not talk on cell phones in designated quiet areas
Dispose of your trash
Report any spills to library staff for clean up
Cooperate with library staff and Campus Security personnel
