Queens College Documents Collection

Queens College Library has an extensive collection of government information resources in paper, microfiche and electronic formats. The library has been a selective federal depository library since 1939 and selects approximately 35% of the items available through the program. Records for most material received through this program since 1985 can be found in CUNY+. Consult the Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (Ref Abstract Index Area) to identify material not included in CUNY+.

Queens has also been a depository for New York State publications since the 1950s and a full microfiche depository since1989. However, microfiche production has been phased out and the library now receives only a small quantity of reference and other titles in paper. Most New York State documents are now available in electronic form and can be located through the New York State Library Catalog or the New York State Government Information Locator Service.
