Queens District Attorney         
Prosecutes criminal cases for the borough of Queens.
Placements vary according to which of the many bureaus (Fraud, Homicide, etc.) is seeking interns.

Brooklyn District Attorney
Prosecutes criminal cases for the borough of Brooklyn.

Queens Legal Aid Society        
Provides pro bono (free) legal services for criminal defendants who cannot afford a private attorney.
Students generally work as investigators.

State Court Judges in Queens          
We have three judges in the State Supreme Court, the lowest level of the state court system. One has a court which specializes in family law.

Private attorneys in Queens           
There are two-- both have mixed practices; one uses interns as investigators and requires that they have access to a car; the other does not.

One attorney with a civil practice, nearly all in torts.
