Search for Assistant Professor of American Politics
The Department of Political Science at Queens College invites
applications for a tenure-track appointment at the level of
Assistant Professor in the field of American Politics, to begin
in the Fall 2018 semester. We are looking for individuals
who combine a strong record of scholarship with a commitment to
excellence in teaching in an extraordinarily diverse
environment. Among our teaching needs are courses in American
national institutions, race and ethnicity, quantitative methods,
and government and public service. The successful
applicant is also expected to participate actively in the
departmentís advisement and service responsibilities. The Ph.D.
is required by the date of appointment.

evidence of teaching effectiveness, a graduate school
transcript, three letters of recommendation, and curriculum
