| BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE
Behavioral Neuroscience is a field of Psychology that is concerned with understanding
the relationship between brain and behavior and, as a field, has grown tremendously
in the past several decades. Behavioral neuroscientists may study the way the
brain creates and stores memories, or how various diseases and injuries of the
brain affect emotion, perception, and behavior. The expansion of Behavioral
Neuroscience is such that almost all other fields of Psychology, such as cognition
or learning or abnormal psychology, now allot significant resources themselves
to understanding the role of brain mechanisms in relation to their respective
fields of study.
