Annual Fund

Endowment income and allocations from the State of New York alone are not enough to meet essential needs. Queens College depends on annual gifts--like yours--to pick up where the endowment leaves off. Only through enhanced private support will Queens College and our students realize their full potential.

With only one-third of the Queens College operating budget provided by the State, your monthly gift will have a direct impact on our students by providing a stable source of funding they can count on.

And because they require no checks, envelopes or stamps to process, monthly deductions save time, banking fees, and the environment!

Your donation will be billed to your credit card each month. We will send you a record of your giving history once a year for tax purposes and give you an opportunity to update your pledge amount or the way you choose to pay it. Of course you can contact us at any time to change or cancel your contribution arrangement.

• Queens College Phonathon

Queens College phonathon raises unrestricted academic support to enhance the quality of education at Queens College. Each year we contact approximately 120,000 QC alumni and friends by telephone. <read more>

Queens College phonathon helps us achieve two goals:

1) We build and strengthen the relationship between our alumni, parents and friends and the College.

2) We talk about the importance of supporting Queens College financially so that we can continue to be a
national leader in higher education.

Queens College phonathon is a critical element in Queens’ annual operating and scholarship budgets. The College relies on unrestricted annual donations to provide the flexibility needed to respond quickly to matters of greatest need -- for example, the importance of providing scholarship support to ensure that the brightest students can attend QC regardless of their financial background.

• Scholarship Support

Annual Fund support enables Queens College to award merit-based and need-based scholarships to deserving students.
