A member of Queens College's class of '03, Joe succeeds Derek Ellingson as the Knights head coach after spending one year as his assistant.  He played briefly at Queens in 1999, but his career was cut short due to an injury to his shoulder.  Joe's outstanding senior year in high school caught the eye of the coaching staff and he was recruited to come to NYC to play at Queens College.  During that senior campaign, he  led his team to a fourth place showing at Pennsylvania State Championships, where he scored  83% of his teams goals and was a second team All-Penn selection.
