Head Coach
Tom Flahive just completed his
fourth season as the head coach of the Queens College Lady Knights Women’s Basketball team. It was a season in which he led QC to the East Coast Conference Playoffs while capturing the conference's Coach of the Year award.
When he succeeded Denis Conroy in the summer of 2004, Tom became the sixth head coach of Lady Knights since the school began play in Division II in 1987.
Tom is a graduate of St. Joseph's of Brooklyn where he captained the men's basketball team while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. A member of the WBCA, Tom comes to Queens from Montclair State College where he was an assistant coach. He has also served as an assistant at the College of Staten Island and St. Francis College of Brooklyn and spent three seasons as head coach at St. Joseph’s College, where he helped re-start the program.
