Roby Young
» Head Coach

Roby is the only head coach the Lady Knights have ever had, taking the reins in 1999 ... led the Lady Knights to a school record 11 wins and their second post season bid in 2005 ... in 2004 and 2005 his teams compiled a record of 21-10-4 while securing two ECAC tournament championship bids ... he also was head coach of the men's soccer team at Queens from 1986-89 ... he earned his B.A. in 1971 and M.A. in 1972 from Adelphi University ... in his playing days, Roby was a member of the Israeli National and Olympic Teams from 1959-69 and served as captain for both, including the team that represented Israel at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City ... he played professionally for the 1972 NASL champion New York Cosmos as well as for their 1973 team ... in 2000 he was selected by the Haifa Club as their Player of the Millenium.

Carl Christian
» Assistant Coach

Carl joined the staff as an assistant coach in 2007 ... his previous coaching experience was with the Forest Hills Youth Association where he has served as an assistant from 2002 to the present ... was an all-conference player for the Knights' men's soccer team from 1986 - 1989 ...  from 1987-1998 he was a member of the NY Greek American Atlas, who were US Open Cup Finalists in 1991, of the Northeastern Professional Soccer League  ... currently plays with the Istria Soccer Club, who were O30 US quarterfinalists in 2006 ... began his playing career in England in the U15 league and trained with Leicester City FC at the U16 - U18 levels ... graduated from John Cleveland College of Leicestershire, England in 1986 ... then attended Queens College on scholarship where he earned a BA in Economics in January of 1991.
