Cultural Programs

The Africana Studies Program offers a lecture series each semester covering topics pertaining to Africa and the African Diaspora. In addition, it sponsors literary readings which highlight the works of contemporary writers. All cultural activities are open to the public. Students are encourged to participate in the study abroad programs to countries in Africa that are offered by other colleges during summer session and intersession. The director's permission is required.
