Reading  Report 4                 Due: 3/2 For this report you will need to read the papers by Littleton and Frohlich (1993) and by Eshed et al. (2006). 1. Summarize the archaeological background of the skeletal collections that were analyzed in these papers. What parts of the world did they come from? How old they were? What subsistence strategies were pursued by the people represented by these skeletal collections? 2. Make a list of the oral health indicators analyzed in each of these papers. 3. Was the distribution of oral health indicators different in collections representing humans having different diets? If yes, how were differences in diet were reflected in the distribution of oral health indicators? You might want to make a table summarizing the differences in terms of oral pathology among people practicing different forms of subsistence.
