·        Dr. Jospeh Scelsa interviews New York State Senator John J. Marchi.  Part I of a two-part interview.


·         The Coalition of Italo-American Associations holds it’s annual Italian Heritage and Culture month gala at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan.  (The event was postponed due to the terrorist attacks of 9/11.) Special guests honored included CUNY Chancellor Mathew Goldstein, Television Personality Kelly Ripa, Tenor Michael Amante, among many.


·        The City of Naples, Italy honors the New York City Fire Department with an 18th century replica of a Neapolitan crèche.   Three fire helmets were presented to the three wise men during a ceremony at St. Michael’s church in Manhattan in remembrance the firefighters who perished in the September 11th attacks on America.
