ELLIS ISLAND IMMIGRATION MUSEUM
The museum tells the poignant story of the immigrants who entered America through the golden door of Ellis Island and details the history of immigration processing station between 1892 and 1954.  Featuring trunks, baggage, immigrant clothing and costumes, passports, steamer and railroad tickets, ship passenger manifests, and more from Italian immigrants as well as the original painting "Family Supper" by Ralph Fasanella.

THE PICCIRILLI STUDIO:  PUBLIC SCULPTURE FOR THE NATION

On NYC Life (Channel 25 NYC)
Episodes are aired each week on Saturday (11:00pm) and Sunday (1:00 pm).  The show embraces everything Italian and explores the Italian and Italian-American faces of New York City, especially places in NYC that are not known, even to the majority of Italians and Italian-Americans that live in the city. It is also a great opportunity for students studying Italian to discover something new about Italy today and the program also explores Italian spots and events going on around NYC.
