Scholars
and Professional Research Project
The Scholars and
Professionals Research Project maintains a database of Italian-American
scholars and professionals working in universities and colleges throughout
the United States. The database enables the query of individual
accomplishments for all disciplines of study and positions held. A directory
of scholars and professionals in produced and distributed to universities and
colleges. The directory is updated on a periodic basis and the database used
to generate other research studies.
The main objective of the Scholars Research Project is to develop a comprehensive up-to-date database
of scholars and professionals in education and business. This information will be useful in establishing a network
of educators, administrators and professionals, cooperation on joint research projects, identification of candidates for
position vacancies at The City University of New York and other educational institutions, and as a reference
guide for aspiring students. (This information will be kept confidential and will be used by the Calandra
