Submissions Withdrawn:
Other Business
Several aspects of assessment
were discussed, including:
- Proposals need to be specific (in the Administration section)
regarding how the department will assess PLAS courses to ensure that PLAS
guidelines are being met.
- The committee hopes to focus on assessment once the volume of
course proposals is manageable and enough fall 2009 and spring 2010 seats are
assured.
It was also noted that recent
submissions have been more complete – specifically regarding the clarity of how
the course meets PLAS goals – as a result of suggestions that were added to and
highlighted on the Proposal Submission Page on the website.
Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 1:50 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
M. Miller, Recording Secretary
