Bachelors must choose the Division with whom they wish to march. (Most choose to march with their majors.) Please be sure to return the Reply Card which will be mailed to you in early April. TO AVOID DELAYS AND ERRORS YOU MUST FILL IN BOTH SIDES OF YOUR CARD COMPLETELY. SUNSHINE PLAN Our Commencement goes on rain-or-shine. If raining or the weather is threatening, rain ponchos will be distributed to those who march. We request that you wear the poncho over the gown. It is assumed your guests will dress for the weather and bring umbrellas if necessary. If it rains, the program will be shortened. If it is raining heavily at line-up time, all processions will form indoors (as shown below) and wait for instructions. The signal to line up indoors instead of outdoors will be the flying of a white "rain flag" on the Quad flagpole. The college website and switchboard (718-997-5000) will also advise if the rain plan is in effect. If we have to line up indoors, please be extra attentive to the Marshals and security who will be relaying instructions to you.
