TESTING & COURSE REGISTRATION
FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
1. Report to the International Students & Scholars Office for the mandatory Orientation Program.
2. If necessary, go to Administrative Offices to remove Registration Stops. See attached handout about Registration Stops.
3. Submit proof of Health Immunization. Take the completed Queens College Health Immunization Form to the Health Services, Frese Hall, Room 310.
4. Take the CUNY Assessment Test (ACT). For Freshmen, and some new Transfer students – those transferring from foreign institutions, and those transferring from U.S. institutions with less than 45 credits.
Freshmen: Contact the
Testing Center to confirm Test date, time and instructions.
Transfer students: Contact Academic Support Center to confirm Test date, time; instructions.
5. Attend Advisement and Registration Workshops, then, register for courses @ Advising Center, Kiely Hall, Room 217. Need ACT results in order to register. You must register as a full time student (12 credits or more).
6. Pay tuition bill within 48 hours. Go to Bursar’s Office to obtain receipt of payment.
7. After registering as a full time student, report back to the Int’l Students & Scholars Office, Student Union , Room 327, to pick up your I-20. YOU MUST OBTAIN a Queens College I-20 before the first day of class.
8. Obtain Queens College Student Identification Card at the Student Union Building,Bring with you, your Passport & I-20.
9. Must register for the Queens College's Lotus Notes Email Account, access www.qc.cuny.edu, click on Email section on right side of QC Home Page.
