| | | | | | History and Vision Each of the participating arts units has a long history of serving the college and community with programming that is strongly rooted in the traditional liberal arts. Seeking to build on our past while promoting innovative and collaborative projects, The Selma and Max Kupferberg Center for the Visual and Performing Arts was created in 2006. It will provide a mechanism by which the seven arts units can work together on projects and events and increase their visibility and outreach to the community. With the support of Queens College, the Community Arts Advisory Board, and the surrounding community, Kupferberg Center for the Arts will stand as a welcoming symbol of superior, multicultural arts programs and facilities that will develop audiences who will become lifelong lovers of the arts. | |
