Solo, Chamber & Jazz Performance by ACSM Students & Alums. Guerilla concerts highlight the talented musicians from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College featuring classical and jazz ensembles. These young musicians will provide excellent performances and also engage its audience through their innovative programs and educational conversations.

The Jorn Swart Trio brings together a vivid mix of standards and original compositions and is quickly establishing themselves as unique jazz artists in New York City and beyond. Their artistic emphasis are on highly melodic themes, sophisticated harmonies and creative freedom. For the this concert the trio will also engage its audience by exchanging questions and answers, reflecting upon their music, and discuss what it means to be jazz artists and how they find ways to express themselves through music.
