Serving as the College's liaison to the
media and community groups, the Office of News & Information Services (NIS) publicizes student achievement, faculty research, and College events to the
community and beyond through press releases and other activities. Our list of
faculty experts serves as a resource for journalists nationwide who require
commentary for an article or a more in-depth understanding of a particular
topic. Every two weeks during the fall and spring semesters our office publishes
FYI, the official faculty/staff newsletter of the College. NIS also maintains
calendars of all campus events and disseminates this information widely to
on-campus and off-campus audiences. Our site is intended to assist both
members of the media and Queens College faculty and staff. Comments and
