                                    Distribution of HS Handbook

 

9/29/-30           City High School Fair      Brooklyn Tech 10AM to 3PM

 

10/10/07          HS Applications distributed during Advisory

                        6 PM 8th Grade Student and Parent Workshop

                        (Students bring HS Handbooks)

 

10/20-21          Borough HS Fair         Location to be announced.

 

10/27-28          Specialized HS Exam

                        Long Island City High School

 

11/8/07            QSI High School Open House 6PM – 8PM

                        Tours by appointment also.

 

11/30/07          HS Applications due to School Counselor

 

2/2-3, 2/5/08    New Schools Fair Location to be announced.

 

2/8/08              Students receive the Specialized HS Round Results

                                    (Includes match to a high school.)

 

2/26/08            Students’ decisions about Specialized HS Round due to School Counselor

 

3/27-28/08       Students receive match to HS.  (Main round)

 

4/10/08            Supplementary Round Applications due to Counselors

 

4/30/08            Students receive match to HS, supplementary round.

 

5/8/08              Last Day to submit an appeal

 

6/4/08              Results of Appeals to parents and students
