FACULTY MENTORS

High school students sometimes want to work with faculty mentors in order to enter Intel Science competitions and for other reasons. The first step in obtaining a mentor is for the student to find a faculty member in the Psychology department who is willing to supervise high school students and whose research is of interest to the student. After identifying a suitable faculty mentor, students may contact faculty with their proposals. If the faculty member is willing to supervise the student, the student and faculty member can arrange a time to meet in person to discuss the possibilities and details.
