The Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Queens College (QC-RCASD) is part of a network of regional centers across New York State. QC-RCASD is funded through a grant from the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) at the University at Albany and the NYS Education Department.

  • QC-RCASD offers the Course Work for Training in the Needs of Students with Autism required by NYS for all special education teachers and administrators. For a schedule of trainings, please contact QC Continuing Education,

  • QC Programs in Special Education has established a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). After successful completion of the 39-credit program, students would graduate with an MS degree, certification in Special Education, and are eligible to sit for the BCBA exam. Our mission is to provide information and education to families; professionals; students of higher education in all disciplines; clinical personnel; and various service providers in Queens County and the greater metropolitan area of NY. Training focuses on the characteristics of autism spectrum disorders; and evidence-based models of best practice in assessment, education, and socially valid models of behavior support.
