TO: All Students Taking Weekend College Sunday Classes During Fall 09

We all regret the disruptions to your schedule, especially now, in the midst of the holidays, family responsibilities, and travel plans. The College weighed all options before cancelling Sunday class finals and rescheduling those finals for this Sunday, December 27th, at the same time and in the same room or lab as originally scheduled. For on-line classes and traditionally held classes that had scheduled labs for the Finals, those room assignments remain the same. If you need further information, please call our Office on Wednesday (1-718-997-4848) during office hours, or consult the Queens College and/or the Weekend College web page. On Sunday, Weekend College staff will be in 202 PH to help as much as they can. Then enjoy the break. We will have a meeting to discuss any Weekend College issues you wish, and to continue our joint on-going process to make Weekend College better.

Weekend College provides the opportunity for a diverse (in age and ethnicity) body of full and part time students to earn a quality education and a Queens College 4 year undergraduate degree within a traditional college environment entirely on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Weekend College also provides an expanded opportunity for Queens College students to be “flexible schedulers,” that is, each semester, a student can take differing combinations of Weekend College, evening, and weekday classes, and move between full and part time status throughout their College careers.
