Do you need a book that's not at the Queens College Library? You may be able to request it from another CUNY campus! Use "CLICS," a book delivery service brought to you by the CUNY Libraries.

How it works:

1. Go to the Library homepage, and click on CUNY+  Catalog.

2. Click on "Select ALL CUNY Libraries" and search for a book.

3. Choose the CUNY library from where you’ll request the "regular loan" and "on-shelf" copy of the book.

4. Click on the "Request" link of the on–shelf item, enter your ID barcode and then choose your pick-up location.

It's that simple!

· NOTE: Check your "My Account" in CUNY+ to see if CLICS requested items are "On Hold" meaning they are available for you. The following CUNY libraries - BMCC, Bronx, City College, Hostos, Lehman, Medgar Evers, New York City Tech, and York are not yet configured to send email messages regarding borrowed items. If you request items from these libraries, you must check "My Account" to see when it is ready for pick up, or "On Hold" for you. If an item is "In Process" it is still en route.

Eligibility

· CUNY undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members or staff members with an active, unblocked library account at one of the CUNY Libraries may use the service

CLICS (CUNY Libraries Inter-Campus Services)

The Proxy Service allows QC users to login to the Library's website to access ALL QC Resources (including CUNY resources).

Step 1

Students must activate their Active Directory Services (ADS) account by logging into the College Account Management System (CAMS) from any student workstation on campus (https://cams.qc.cuny.edu/). Registered students need only activate the account once.

Reminder for the CAMS login: The College ID is the social security number, PIN # is the registration PIN/password (for those without a PIN, use the last 6 digits of the social security number), Postal Code is the zip code. The ADS account will be listed twice, on two separate lines - to activate the account, create the same password for each line.

Step 2

Users must configure their web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) following the instructions on the Proxy Service (http://helpdesk.qc.cuny.edu/FAQS/proxy.asp) website.
