Course Description:

3 credits.
National income measurement; macro-economic theories of income, employment, prices, and interest rates; public policies for growth and stabilization.

Learning Objectives: |
Understand fundamental macroeconomic concepts; apply the concepts to real macroeconomic problems, understand the socio-economic consequences of policy decisions, and the role of government.
|
Restrictions: |
This course cannot be taken for credit if Economics 226 has been taken.
|
Prerequisites: |
Economics 101 or 103 and 102 or 104.
Any student that does not satisfy the prerequisite will be dropped from this class. |
