Business Statistics, Custom Edition for Queens College CUNY, by Sharpe, De Veaux and Velleman, Pearson, 2015, with MyStatLab.

Course Description:

3 credits.
Topics include descriptive statistics, elementary probability theory, sampling statistical inference, estimation, and simple correlation and regression with business applications.

Prerequisites: ECON 101 or ECON 103 and MATH 131 or equivalent

Grade (%)= 0.2*HW+0.2*Ex1+0.2*Ex2+0.4*Final
Example: HW=70%, Ex1= 80%, Ex2=72%, Final=88%.
Grade(%)=0.2*70+0.2*80+0.2*72+0.4*88=79.6%;
