Course Information:

This is a one semester course algebra. The topics we will cover include modules, field theory, galois theory, and some homological algebra as time permits.

Location: Tuesday, Thursday 6:30-7:45. Kiely 326.
Textbook: "Abstract Algebra" by Dummit and Foote, 3rd Ed.
Grading: The final grade will be based on the midterm, final exam, and several homework assignments.
