Here is some information on the first midterm:

• The exam is on Thursday 10/9/2007, from 2:40 to 4:10 pm in KY 242. Please be there on time.

• The exam will have 5 problems, totally worth 40 points. I'll provide paper so you won't need booklets. Books and notes are not allowed, but remember to bring your calculator with you.

• The exam potentially covers everything up to and including section 2.4, (with the exception of "precise definition of a limit" at the end of section 1.3). Check out this review sheet for more information about what topics you should study as well as a few practice problems. Work on these problems as you study the book or lecture notes; I'll post detailed solutions on Tuesday 10/9.
