MATH 231 First Midterm

Here is some information on the first midterm:

• The exam is on Tuesday 10/5/2004, from 1:45 to 3:15 pm in KY 419. Please be there on time.

• The exam covers sections 1.1-1.7 and 2.1-2.3 of the text. I'll provide paper so you won't need booklets. Books and lecture notes are not allowed, but you can write anything you want on a note card (about 5" by 7") and bring it with you.

• Check out this Practice Test. Work on these problems as you study the book or lecture notes; I'll post detailed solutions by the end of the week.
