Description:This is the first part of a year-long course in classical real analysis. It covers some basic topology, convergence and continuity in metric spaces, functions spaces and applications, and basic Lebesgue theory. Although the course starts from the foundations, a working knowledge of rigorous undergraduate analysis will be assumed.Left: A Cantor set embedded in 3-dimensional space |
