The Godwin-Ternbach Museum depends on the generosity of its members. Your membership allows us to produce exciting exhibitions and programs that are free for students and the public alike. Your contributions support visual arts and culture in Queens, foster the development of art education in local public schools, and help us to fulfill our mission and commitment to high academic and aesthetic standards. Our fine collection of art from all periods and cultures is an important resource for Queens and the only one of its kind in the borough. Please help us present, preserve, and interpret our collection for those who come, now and in the future, to discover, learn, and explore!

Membership Benefits

We offer several levels of membership—but give what you can. All contributions are greatly appreciated!

INDIVIDUAL: $50+

  • Advance invitations to all exhibition openings, films
    and programs
  • Frequent electronic updates on museum and other
    important arts events
  • 10% discount on all museum publications
  • Discounts for special tours and workshops

SUPPORTING: $100+
ALL OF THE ABOVE, PLUS:

  • Invitations to private events with the director and guest
    artists and scholars
  • Recognition in museum catalogues and on website as a Supporting Member
  • Membership benefits for up to 2 adults and children under 18
  • Discounts for select Kupferberg Center for the Visual and Performing Arts events

CONTRIBUTING: $500+
ALL OF THE ABOVE, PLUS:

  • One copy of an exhibition catalogue published during membership year
  • Recognition in museum catalogues as a Contributing Member
  • Annual recognition in the museum lobby

PATRON: $1,000+
ALL OF THE ABOVE, PLUS:

  • Copies of all museum exhibition catalogues published
    during membership year
  • Recognition in museum catalogues as a Patron
  • Primary notification of museum trips and other special programs

STUDENTS & SENIORS: $10

  • At this level you will enjoy all benefits of the Individual level. Please provide a valid student or government ID as proof of your status.
