IMPORTANT NOTE: As the end of the semester is approaching, you should study harder by spending more time on this course. I urge you to have a look at the material in Chapter 6 (except for 6.7, 6.11, 6.12) ahead of time.

  • Read sections 6.1 to 6.6 (Thomas/Finney).

  • Make sure you are able to solve all the core problems in these sections.

  • Write up the following problems and hand them in:

      Page 465 problems 2(f), 4, 12, 14, 20, 30, 48, 72.

      Page 472 problems 4, 10, 14, 22, 32 (first simplify), 38 (implicit differentiation), 42, 52, 66.

      Page 481 problems 4, 14, 34 (first simplify), 44, 56.
