Yago S. Cura is an apostle of Information Literacy currently seeking a position as an Instruction & Outreach Librarian. He has worked as an Information Assistant at Queens College's Rosenthal Library, and an Adjunct Academic Librarian at the Learning Resource Center of Bronx Community College. In 1999, UMASS-Amherst awarded Yago an ALANA (African, Latino, Asian/ Pacific Islander &
Native American) Diversity Fellowship. In 2007, the American Library
Association awarded
him a Spectrum scholarship to subsidize his studies. In 2009, the Graduate School of Library and Information Science
at Queens College/ C.U.N.Y. awarded his efforts spreading the
gospel of multiculturalism with the David Cohen Multicultural Award.
