Here is what you need to know about the first midterm:
- The exam is on Tuesday 10/7, from 1:40 to 2:55 pm in
Kiely 319. Please be there on time.
- The exam will have 4 problems, totally worth 40 points. I'll provide
paper so you won't need booklets. Books and notes are not allowed, but remember
to bring your calculator with you.
- The exam potentially covers everything up to and including section 1.6,
with the exception of the precise definition of limit on pages 31-32 and
64-66. Check out this review sheet
for more information about what topics you should study as well as a few
practice problems. Work on these problems as you study the book and lecture
notes; I'll solve them on Thursday 10/2.
