Here is what you need to know about the first midterm:

• The exam is on Thursday 10/5/2017, from 1:40 to 2:55 pm in Kiely 277. Please be there on time.

• I'll provide paper so you won't need booklets to write in. Books and lecture notes are not allowed, but remember to bring your calculator with you. Sharing calculators, using advanced calculators (capable of doing symbolic computations) or using other devices such as smartphones or tablets is not permitted.

• Check out this review sheet for more information about what topics you should study as well as a few practice problems. Work on these problems as you study for the test; I'll go over them on Tuesday 10/3.
