This folder contains lesson plans created by faculty at Queens and other
colleges. In general, the lesson plans are pretty innovative and cover
a wide range of approaches to teaching writing. They should give you a
sense of how other teachers work with writing in their classrooms.

This is a bank of handouts created by faculty and
CUNY Writing Fellows--on topics ranging from using sources to overcoming
writer's block.
Manuals and Guides (for
teachers and students)
This is a collection of writing manuals and
guidelines in the disciplines, created by faculty from Queens College.
Assignments
This is a collection of assignments, from various
disciplines and levels in the curriculum, created and used by faculty
from Queens and other colleges.
WAC Library (Razran 316)
We have a growing library of books and articles
in the WAC Resource Library (316 Razran Hall). In addition to the books
listed (by topic), we have a large variety of articles on topics related
to writing, teaching, and learning. If a title on the list intrigues you,
please stop by and check it out. If you're looking for material on a particular
