Biographical Information:
Justin brings a wide array of experience to his position of College Laboratory Technician at the Aaron Copland School of Music. He has worked as a production sound mixer for a video research project, an audio engineer for a wide variety of live events including orchestra performances and industrials, and a recording engineer for both popular and classical music. He has also served as the Production Manager for the Live at the Gantries summer concert series in Long Island City and Co-Director of The Black Cat, a music showcase event produced by Queens College.
Justin oversees concert production and instructional technology for the Aaron Copland School of Music in addition to maintaining the School of Music's recording facilities. Justin also teaches Recording Studio Fundamentals, an introductory course in recording technology for the Music Production program.
As a saxophonist, Justin has performed as a soloist with the Queens College Orchestra and Chamber Winds and as an ensemble musician with the Queens College Wind Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Ensemble and the Manhattan School of Music Wind Ensemble. Justin holds a Bachelor of Music degree in saxophone performance from Queens College, studying with Dr. Paul Cohen.
