Biographical Information:
Gilad Rabinovitch has published widely on eighteenth-century phrase schemata and the reimagining of historical improvisation, among other topics. His work has appeared in journals including Music Theory Online, Music Theory Spectrum, and the Journal of Music Theory. He is the recipient of a 2023 Emerging Scholar Award from the Society for Music Theory for an article on Carl Czerny and improvisation. He has presented at various conferences on music scholarship and has given invited talks at institutions including Northwestern University and UT Austin.
