Course information
MATH143 is an overview of techniques of integration and the theory of infinite series.
Prerequisites: Math 142.

Textbook: Essential Calculus, Second Edition, by James Stewart. We will cover Sections 6.1-6.5, 5.8, 6.6, and 8.1-8.8.
Midterms: There will be two midterms, held in class. The dates for the midterms will be announced in class.
Homework : There will be homework every week, on WebAssign. To sign up, follow these instructions: 1) Go to webassign.net 2) You will need to register, using the class key "qc 8802 3601 " (without quotation marks). If you have any trouble with webassign, there is a technical support hotline at 1-800-955-8275.
Final Exam: There will be a final exam, held on
Grading: The Homework will be worth 25% of the grade. Each midterm will be worth 25% of the grade. The final exam will be worth 25% of the grade.
