Course information

MATH231 is a third semester course on Calculus.

  • Prerequisites: Math 143 or 152.

  • Textbook: Essential Calculus, Second Edition, by James Stewart.
  • Midterms: There will be three midterms.
  • Homework : There will be homework due every week. There will be homework every week, on WebAssign.   • Grading: The grading scheme will consist of: 25% each midterm, 25% homework. The rubric will roughly be: A 90-100, B 80-89, C 70-79, D 60-69, F 60 and below.
