GEAC-Approved PLAS Courses

he table below lists courses on Perspectives in the Liberal Arts and Sciences (PLAS) approved by the General Education Advisory Committee (GEAC), during the period of January 2008 through October 2009, and recommended to the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee as fulfilling criteria for PLAS courses

The course titles link to proposal materials, as approved by GEAC. Clicking on the table headers re-sorts the data. Abbreviations are explained below the table.

Note on QR Extended Requirement: The table includes courses designed to fulfill the Quantitative Reasoning (QR) Extended Requirement. As requested by the UCC, GEAC did not evaluate whether these courses meet that requirement. The UCC will make recommendations about the QR requirement for those courses.
